Cellular or Honeycomb Shades
A lot of energy loss in your home happens through the windows. Sunlight heats the glass in the summer, and in the winter, warm air uses your windows as an escape. Cellular shades from Blinds by Design can help you combat that problem. These window shades feature fabric pockets that trap air and create an added layer of insulation. This insulating layer helps your home maintain a more consistent internal temperature and can also help with sound absorption. Our honeycomb shades are made from stain and wrinkle-resistant fabrics that are easy to clean. We can also fit these shades to any window, including circles, ovals, octagons, hexagons, arches, skylights, and sliding glass doors.

They highlight the natural imperfections of the materials and bring a bit of the natural world into your home. These shades are lovely for sunrooms, kitchens, and bright natural spaces.
